Afterschool Programs

Afterschool Programs sponsored by both PUSD and the City are offered at all elementary school sites and several secondary sites.  The Citywide Afterschool Recreation Program currently operates at 14 sites and will welcome McKinley School as their newest location this fall.  When programs are co-located on the same campus, participants can take advantage of some programming opportunities supplied by the other afterschool provider.  For example, City staff offer a fitness program three days a week to all afterschool participants, whether they are enrolling the Citywide Recreation Afterschool Program or another afterschool Program.  PasadenaLEARNs opens its Friday special events to all afterschool participants.
